No one told us RVing was going to be just like when we were kids playing in our fort. This is so much fun, setting things up in our new Airstream kitchen and learning what works and what doesn’t. We recently added a number of tools to our set-up that really work, so over the next several short posts, we will share what we are learning with the hope that you find the ideas useful too.
We have seen a number of solutions for keeping glasses and tableware from banging against one another. Most of them either expensive, inflexible, or embarrassing when we have guests (garbage bags). I recently purchased a roll of ConTact non-adhesive shelf liner to use in lining our kitchen drawers, when it dawned on me that it could also be used as liners between all of our plates and bowls to prevent them from scratching and breaking while underway. This inexpensive and customizable solution has been terrific. I keep a spare roll on board that gets used whenever something fragile is added to our collection.
